If you are starting this new year off already feeling stressed, burned out, and out of balance, the chances you’ll stick to your resolutions or intentions are slim (pun intended). One of the most effective ways to take back control and push the reset button is through SELF-CARE.
The Mind+Body Reset is a 30-day online self-care retreat that will help you feel more centered and focused as you start this year, setting a stongher foundation for the life you want to live or changes you want to make over the next 12 months.

Identify self-care practices that work for YOU. Discover the benefits of self-care, simple ways to get started, and how to ditch the guilt and find a routine you actually enjoy that works best for YOU in as little as 5-20 minutes a day. Fill your cup first so that you can help others.
Set intentions and boundaries for more joy, fulfillment, & happiness. Learn how to find joy by creating a more intentional, balanced life that includes focusing on your needs while giving back in ways that align with your goals, priorities, and dreams.
Discover the food/mood connection and mindful eating. Discover how certain foods can affect your mood, cognitive function, bloating, etc., and learn how to tune into what foods can be triggers for you, so you can learn to avoid them.
Develop habits and routines that last. You’ll feel empowered to implement self-care practices to develop a routine that is sustainable and effective.

HOW IT WORKS
Each Sunday afternoon for four weeks, we will share an audio or video message in the Healthy Lives+Good Vibes self-care support group for women/womxn. This message will introduce a Mind+Body Reset topic, and offer prompts to reflect on and, if you desire, activities to try. Throughout the week, we'll share additional resources and tools to help you apply what you've learned.
This isn’t some woo-woo fluff, either! The content is science-backed and evidence-based, meaning that the tips and techniques have been proven to be effective and are worthy of exploration if you choose.
Unlike other programs out there, you aren’t going to get a list of things you should or shouldn't do -- we know that rarely works. Instead, you will be guided to making simple shifts that fit into YOUR life for self-care practices that last and that you actually enjoy.
MAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF
If you think you’re too busy for self-care, think again. Your body IS keeping score, even if you don’t think it is.
Here’s the good news - prioritizing yourself does not need to be time-consuming, and in fact, it can fit into small pockets of time during the day.
The best part is that making time for self-care can actually reduce your stress levels dramatically and also have you feeling more patient, calm, and grounded. This means that you may be able to manage emotional eating or keep your energy levels in check so you can get in that workout you planned or finish that project you started, for example.
