Mask wearing & vaccination verification/testing requirements to continue at Her365 Fitness. In the next few days, the Governor’s statewide indoor mask mandate for the vaccinated will be lifted in most spaces. And, last week, our county ended the vaccine verification & covid testing requirement for certain indoor spaces including gyms. Contra Costa County says: Though the county requirement may be lifted, private businesses may choose to implement their own verification requirements to better protect customers and staff, and CCHS encourages them to consider doing so as a safest practice during the pandemic. We believe that our practices of requiring mask wearing (regardless of vaccination status) and monitoring vaccination/testing status of our members and guests, is the best way to keep our sisterhood as protected as possible from covid-19 and it’s variants during the active pandemic. We’ve had the opportunity in the last few days to check in with some members about their thoughts on the statewide and county changes and, overwhelmingly, the response has been supportive of us upholding our existing policies. One 365er even shared that it's because of our policies that she felt safe coming back the gym. So…we're going to keep doing what we’ve been doing! We are upholding our safe practices and will continue monitoring for changes as they happen. One day we will return to mask-free indoor exercise, but that time has not yet come at Her365 Fitness. But when that day does come, you better believe that I will be the first to snatch off my mask and do a happy dance! 💃🏽 This is a good time to revisit our Covid Safety page to brush up on our polices and to recommit to Protect the Circle by taking the pledge. Learn more about our partnership with keyless entry provider, Nexkey here. Here are a few tips and pointers to keep in mind as you set up and use your keyless entry account. Where is the SIGN UP link? (step 1) After downloading the Nexkey app, open it and tap the SIGN UP link at the bottom of the screen in small, white text. What do I need to know about entering my information? (step 2) • Make sure your email address and mobile phone number are typed correctly when creating your account. If you enter incorrectly, you will not be able to receive your key. • Make sure you are using the same email or phone number to where you received your invitation from us. We sent the invitation to the info we have on file for you. If you are unsure which account we used, please ask us. I want to change my Nexkey contact details. How can I do that? • You are able to edit your phone number, email and password in your Nexkey account once you’ve logged into the app. To do this, click the ‘More’ button at the bottom of the screen and choose your name at the top. I’m not at the gym and my key isn’t showing up in the Unlock tab. Why not? Your key will ONLY show up in the Unlock tab if you are in front of the facility and your Bluetooth is on. You will not be able to use your key to unlock the gym from home or anywhere else. I’m at the gym and my key isn’t showing up in the Unlock tab. Why not? Check your phone settings. Bluetooth needs to be ON to unlock the door. The system uses Bluetooth to connect to your phone to confirm that access is permitted. How can I tell that the door is unlocked? Tap the Her365 Fitness key that shows up in the Unlock tab. The system will connect with your phone and if successful, you’ll see the green check mark along with the word ‘Unlocked’ on your screen. There is no more beep so just try to open the door once your phone. If the door does not unlock, check that your Bluetooth is on and try again. My friend’s key isn’t working. Can she just come in with me? NO. For everyone’s safety, please make sure you do not follow anyone in after they’ve used their key to unlock the door or allow anyone else to enter behind you (we call this tailgating). Everyone MUST use their own key to unlock the door so don’t feel bad about closing the door behind you. Do not open the door for ANYONE even if they are knocking. 🙋🏾‍♀️ And always, we are here to help! Repeat until you feel more chill. For more relaxation support, Her365 Fitness virtual studio member, you have access to a library of audio meditations and mindfulness sessions in our virtual studio app. You can access the sessions by tapping the Audio Meditation Sessions tile on the home screen. There are a variety of guided meditation options available as well as music and soothing sounds for when you prefer not to have voice guidance. The Morning Meditation is one that I use to help me get clear for the day. What I like is that there are several session lengths (10 mins, 14 mins, and 18 mins) and I choose based on what I’m in the mood for.
